Enticing aromas of lemongrass, grapefruit zest, crane melon and hints of nutmeg begin the nose on this Fume Blanc. Racy acidity and bright fruit flavors of Meyer lemons and green apples on the mouth awake the palate. A surprisingly refreshing mid-palate layers the mouth with creamy vanilla notes and hints of key lime and kiwi. A beautiful, long, lemony finish makes this wine an easy match for many dishes.

My Good Friday wine. I purchased this chiled at Joe Canals in Princeton NJ for 11.00 for the bottle. I would say this was what I was looking for. There is a very light finish not buttery like the Chardany but this has a floral brisk finish that is smoth and dry. Not leaving much hint on the palate after tasted. There is bit of Lemon and Grapfrut with some grass to the nose but it diapates very nicly and leave the mouth wanteing more but not right away. I would think that this is a wonderful summer wine and what a deal for 11.00. I would give this Fume Blanc a 87 on the V scale. Tomarow i will try a Chardany from St. Francis. Getting ready for Sonoma and Napa Next week.
