Over the last several months, we have been working closely with Apple on fine tuning Pro Tools for OS X Leopard 10.5.3. Now that Apple has released version 10.5.3 we can enter the final stages of performance testing and quality assurance before making fully qualified versions of Pro Tools HD, LE and M-Powered software available to our customers.
As a convenience for our customers who may wish to begin their transition to Apple's latest Leopard release as soon as possible, pre-release versions of Pro Tools 7.4.2 will be made available in the next few days. While the pre-release versions of Pro Tools 7.4.2 have passed core internal testing requirements, the process for manufacturing fully qualified Pro Tools software normally takes up to several weeks to complete depending on performance and stability.

Apogee Ensemble looks like it wont be shipped out until 6/8/08
Well it looks like Apogee wont be shipping the Ensemble until the week of 6/8 so I guess I wont have it for the recoding starting 6/6 oh well. Hopefully some time soon it will arrive its been 6 weeks already. I really hope it will be worth the wait. I am stuck with two channels right now using just the Duet by Apogee. I used to use the Motu 828mkII

A very interesting clip on how we hear (Perceive) and react (respond) Much like what we at LightHouse Network are teaching in the Mark 12.30 Project. I found this very interesting. Its like our brain is the ultimate computer and we take the information and filter it and make sense of in in the same way a microphone takes a sound puts it thought a pre amp and then gets converted in a AD and AD processor like the Apogee Duet or Ensemble. (AD= Analog to Digital) (DA Digital to Analog) then the brain maps it through a sync process. In music we call that the jitter or master time clock when the signal gets jittery and not in sync nose is generated and it dose not sound very good. A migraine headache is characterized by an intense, throbbing pain, most often on one side of the head and sometimes involving the neck. Extreme sensitivity to light and sound, nausea and vomiting, and coldness in the hands or feet may accompany the migraine headache.
An "aura," a visual disturbance that appears as flashing lights, jagged lines, or a temporary vision loss sometimes occurs before the headache. Migraines typically occur 1 to 4 times per month and last, on average, from 4 to 72 hours. Migraine triggers are numerous and include lack of food or sleep, bright lights, hormonal changes (in women), anxiety, stress, weather changes, and certain drugs.
