Description
The Furman M-8 is the perfect low-cost AC power solution for many rack mount systems. Install an M-8 in the top slot of your rack, and the eight switched AC outlets in the rear panel will power up and protect all your equipment up to a 15-amp load.
M-Series conditioners protect your delicate electronic equipment by combining high voltage varistor (MOV) surge and transient suppressors. The fast-acting supression circuit quickly responds and clamps transient voltages to safe levels. An RFI/EMI interference filter works to prevent noise from fluorescent lights, certain dimmers, radio transmitters, and similar sources of “electronic pollution†from contaminating the AC line and from there, leaking into sensitive audio, video, or computer circuits. The M-8 is NRTL/TUV listed.
Circuit Breaker
For safety, a circuit breaker is provided on the front panel. If the total load on the Power Distributor (combining all outlets) exceeds the 15A (or 1800 watt limit), the circuit breaker will trip. If this happens, it may be easily reset by pushing in the button. There is no need to replace fuses.
Switches
The M-8 has a convenient master switch for the rear outlets which glows when the power is on.
Warranty Information
All Merit Series Power Conditioners are protected by a limited one year warranty covering manufacturer defects.

Metting with Lester DeVoe
What a wonderfull man Lester DeVoe is, it was such a plesure to meet with him, laugh with him. The two guitars that I played were wonderfull. I really liked the one in the above pic wich is a Negra. I about a year and a hafe I should be a proud owner of one of these true works of art. They are such a plesure to play.

I installed the B Band UST and Volume control today in the Mantavalo Flamenco Negra sound good and well ballanced I like the way the pickup sounds (as good as can be with out a mic) into the Mackie 1202

MacBook Pro 17in Working Well
Well all is working well and I am ready to go and see my frind and do some good recording and picture taking. It has my new battery in it and its all good. Should be able to work in the air for a few hours.

B Band UST
Well I was tired of not being able to play loud in New Chapel and other venues. So I broke down and got another B Band UST pick up. This will be my third one that I install on one of my guitars. I am going to put this in the Mantavalo Flamenco Negra Guitar. I will plug the guitar into the Fishman Aura and then to the Alesis Midi Verb.

The unique condenser under-saddle transducer is made with patented elastic electret film and is ultra thin and stiff for better string balance, higher output, greater durability, and lower background noise. Mike and Victor did record the Biblical Reflection DVD serires this week
Well most of us at Light House Network really worked hard the last few months and this week it reallly came togeter. Karl Benzio the Director of Light House has pur togeter a project called the Mark 12.30 Project this week we recorded 6 hours of material that will go on 5 DVD's Joan Esherik put all of the written material togeter and really was the back bone to making sure that the work book and the flow of the material would work. She also appears on a few of our group sessions. Kathy Helped me stay calm and focused and did some real problem solving for me this weekend. Mike Huber who is my best frend and colluge was next to me most of the time as we recorded. The series should be avialbe late Aug early Sep 07. check http://www.lighthousenetwork.org/ to purcase.

Palm Recording Studio Mobile Unit
This is the Palm Recording Studio Mobile Unit. We use Shure KSM 44 & 141 Mic's into the Motu UltraLite's pre's. From the Motu UltraLite we connect it with firewire to the MacBook Pro 17in. The Mac Book Pro 17 runs Logic Pro 7.2, Logic Express, Garageband 3, Reason 3, Stylus RMX, Quick Time Pro, Photo Both, iChat, iMovie HD, we use various hard drives to record and capture our projects.

MOTU Ultra Light Wins and Presonus FireBox never even started up
What a day it was hear at Palm Recording Studio, today was time to try out the Presonus Fire Box with the Mac Book Pro 17 for mobile Recording Tomarow and it would not power up. This is due to the fact the Presonus uses 12v to power up the fire box howerver the Mac Book Pro 17in only give out 8v of juce. So the Presonus Fire Box will not power up. "DARN" I was able to get the Presonus for 200.00 brand new on ebay. Well I was up and thinking the mac was dead and had problems. It does but nothing that is not working as it should. I just wish people would tell us useres these things. Well I was all worked up and upset going how am I going to take care of this so tomarow I can record. My wife went to the Apple store in King Of Prussia becase I was so upest. She talked with them two times and came to the conclusin that the problem with with the power in the unit. Taz on of the Creatives at Apple sugested MOTU. Ah those good folks at MOTU (I curenly use the MOTU 828mkII at Palm Recording Studio) they have two units that are Fire wire bus powered the Traveler for 850.00 and the Ultra Light for 550.00 well both are more than what I wanted to pay. Taz sugested we bring back the Presouns and go for the MOTU. We called Sam Ash in King of Prusia and they were open untill 6:00pm and my wife drove over and spoke with some real nice lady in Pro Audo who hooked up the Ultra Light to the Mac Book Pro17 (mine) and it worked great. Ok were home free now and I got up set for nothing. What have I learned from this two things. 1 Do all your home work before you buy your gear. Cheap never works. 2. Stay calm and you will find your way and find the solution. Geting up set only keeps your from finding the way to your creation. Well thats if for now will test the MOTU when it gets home.

Roland VG-8EX is awsome
The guy that sold this to me is a nice russian guy. He packed it so well and made me wish that every ebay trasation was this nice. The gear works great and will add some very nice sounds to the live and studio sounds.
