Lady Charlene (I mean Mam) Your awesome

Well yesterday my friend Charlene and I were talking and somehow we got on to the subject of wine, somehow we always do. Well I told her that Kathy (my fiance) is getting all this cool house stuff but I just wanted stuff from guitar center or wine stuff. Well today she shared with some friends at Siemens in Sunnyvale CA and they were moved to buy some nice Cab glasses from Crate and barrel (Thanks so very much to you) well one of her friends bought two glasses and then another bought two, I have never meet these folks and what a nice suprize on the way in to work at PH, Charlene told me that her friends at work purchased the glasses and it just made me feel special. Its been a hard few weeks in the ER (Emergency Room)and PH (Princeton House) and this was just a very nice reminder that people do like to do nice things for others and it really made me feel special. O Charlene feel free to tell your friends about the nice music equipment that I like to. Thanks to all of you again. V

Cool Sight for Ring Tones

This sight wolfram.com was a sight that Ottmar Liebert commitmented on his blog and I checked it out and downloaded a few tones for my Treo 650 and it is pretty easy. Check it out. Hear is a clip from the web page and some info: About WolframTones

When prominent scientist Stephen Wolfram published A New Kind of Science in 2002, it was immediately hailed as a major intellectual landmark. Today the paradigm shift that Wolfram's work initiated is starting revolutions in a remarkable range of areas of science, technology--and the arts. WolframTones is an experiment in applying Wolfram's discoveries to the creation of music.

At the core of A New Kind of Science is the idea of exploring a new abstract universe: a "computational universe" of simple programs. In A New Kind of Science, Wolfram shows how remarkably simple programs in his "computational universe" capture the essence of the complexity--and beauty--of many systems in nature.

WolframTones works by taking simple programs from Wolfram's computational universe, and using music theory and Mathematica algorithms to render them as music. Each program in effect defines a virtual world, with its own special story--and WolframTones captures it as a musical composition.

It's all original music--fresh from "mining" Wolfram's computational universe. Sometimes it's reminiscent of familiar musical styles; sometimes it's like nothing ever heard before. But from just the tiniest corner of the computational universe WolframTones can make everyone on Earth their own unique cellphone ringtone. It's a taste of what it's like to explore the computational universe--and a hint what's to come...

Well Things are Moving Along (Where do we find Love)

Well things are moving along with the wedding plans, Kat has been great and very patient with this old man who still wants to be a guitar player professionally. Well with all my fears and brokeness she is still patient with me and its a very loving place to be. I find that in our relationship we are ever growing and ever evolving into more loving people even when we blow it its a chance for the other person to show love, and I give kathy many chances at showing love. I wonder what life would be like if people who blew it were shown love and compassion on their poor choices or circumstances, I think this kind of love may not just be something that one can conjure up themselves. I think its a love that can be show by us humans but we must get this love from something bigger than ourselves. I think this is where the true teachings found in the Bible can come alive, Jesus Christ showed this kind of love with the woman at the well, the thief on the cross, the tax collector. Well I know I am far from loving the way Christ loved but what else is there to really live for? Money, Sex Power, Food, Wine while all of those things in there right place can be awesome they themselves dont bring life (they do feel good) but there is an emptiness in those things with out true relationship and love. I believe that we must Love God and Others and that is where we will become alive. Our lives may be the time spent to clean out what gets in the way. To live is to give to others what we really do have and not what we don’t. Where are you getting what you give and what do you give when you do give? Well there’s my thought for the day.

The Legal System is way out of Ballance in US

Hear is an example:
This must be the west coast division of PH.  Just a bunch of nuts around here.  One of my co-workers is in jail.  Cops were sitting outside
his house yesterday morning to arrest him, for not appearing in court for a case about his dog being out on the street without a collar..He paid
the fine 2 years ago and the dog has since died. Apparently the county doesn't show he paid the fine and since he didn't appear in court the
judge ordered a bench warrant.  So he's been in jail since yesterday. Now the county can't find the warrant giving the cops permission to
arrest him.  This world is just NUTS..............

Mobile Write -New Program for the Palm Treo 650

Using MobileWrite, it is easy to enter text and data, in to your favorite Palm OS applications, by simply writing on the screen of your handheld, instead of using the keyboard. MobileWrite gives you an option to use standard letters, Graffiti 1 or Graffiti 2 letters. Using the standard letters, capitals and lowercase letters can be written as you normally would on paper. With the ability to write words on the same screen as your application, letter writing or data entry can be done with less effort. You will be able to concentrate on your work, instead of the data entry. Supports French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and Portuguese.
Letters, numbers and other symbols can be written directly on the screen of the handheld or in the Graffiti area. Does not pop up a special window for writing, can be used instead of Graffiti or Graffiti 2.
In addition to the standard characters, TAB, SPACE, BACK SPACE, RETURN and the ability to highlight and delete selected text is also available for editing longer text messages.
Write one character at a time or an entire word across the screen.
Shows alternate letters for quick corrections.
MobileWrite does not need to be trained to recognize characters.
No shifting is required for lowercase, and uppercase letters, or other symbols.
Integrates seamlessly with other Palm OS applications requiring text entry.
This version has improvement in recognition and compatibility with other applications.

Audio Engineering Society Oct 5-8 SanFran Moscone Converntion Center

Hey Let Go to this:
Planning for the 121st Audio Engineering Society Convention is well under way, with the collaboration of a stellar Committee headed once again by Chair John Strawn. Scheduled for Oct. 5-8, 2006, in SF’s Moscone Convention Center. This year’s AES Convention Technical Program will maintain its traditional four-day run. However, AES executive director Roger Furness has announced a format change designed to meet the evolving needs of the pro audio community. “The Technology Exhibition is now scheduled for three days, October 6-8, a change which reflects well-considered exhibitor requests,” Furness said.

Chairman John Strawn reports that the all-volunteer Committee began meeting in late 2005, to develop an exemplary program of Papers, Tutorials, Master Classes, Workshops, Exhibits, Broadcast, Educational, Historical and Special Events. “We have attracted a dedicated and eminently professional Committee,” he said. “Surpassing standards set by earlier conventions is a formidable challenge, but this extraordinary brain trust will not disappoint the thousands of international audio industry pros who look forward to this event all year long.”

The Full Program of the convention is now available. If you wish to be contacted with more convention updates please click here.

Skywalker Jet Pack 200,000.00

Skywalker jet packs in development
Posted Jul 31st 2006 5:19PM by Darren Murph
Filed under: Transportation, Wearables

No matter how played flying cars, kayaks, and other strange contraptions are, the allure of a jet pack strapped onto your back just doesn't seem to lose its luster. Rick Herron, creator of Skywalker Jets, has devised a rocket pack that weighs about 90 pounds and can propel a 200 pound pilot around the air for what is likely the most invigorating 5 minutes of their life. The crazy part is this thing actually works, and it doesn't get your backside all crispy in the process. Rick plans on producing a finalized model that has a range of about 4 miles and includes a GPS unit integrated into a HUD showing flight time and engine information among other things. A prototype build solicited a bid over 10 grand from a hopeful buyer (or helpless Star Wars fan), and this project hopefully won't end here -- Rick plans to get the device approved by the FAA and available to anxious customers as soon as possible, and the good news is that becoming a rocketeer will only cost you a cool $200,000 if it goes into production.

Lots Of Changes Changes

What are changes, can we avoid them, what are they all about. Well I think that to live is change, imagine that when we were born that we stayed at that age of 1 day for years never being free to talk and take care of our needs, wet diapers forever, well in old age we may visit that time again but for most of us its years before we need a diaper again. Change means that we are growing and moving towards something. While there are changes that we may not want to experience, death, loss of a relationship, sickness, there is no way we can control out little word and not experience change. Change is the gift of life and how we respond to every moment, we even get to change how we will respond to change. I believe that to live is to change and to not change is to die. Buy even in death out bodies go thought change change is inevitable. Learning that change brings new things may help us all respond to how the word around us is changing.

Change and Be

« Balancing ActLED Traffic Lights »Story
Micro Story: awaken, realize yourself, climb the mountain and reach the top, become enlightened or translucent…

Macro Story: live your life, play the game of life and being human, show the way by following the way, be the way, walk down from the mountain and enter the marketplace, spread the Dharma, enable other people to awaken, go about your business…

Meta Story: Evolution! evolution of consciousness, conscious contribution to the evolution of mankind/planet/universe…

This is your universe and just as the scientist’s presence in the lab will influence the result of the experiment, changing yourself will surely change the whole universe. When you want to create change, will you try to change the projection (universe/world) or the projector (self). Clearly, changing the projector will change the projection.

Trace Accoustic TA 50 R Amp

I picked up a used Trace Accoustic 50 R amp at Guitar Center in King of Prussia for 200.00+tax. The amp sounds great and I will be using it with the Fishman Aura and the Flamenco Negra guitar in small venus of 100 or smaller. This makes a great travel rig and small and easy to go. I put some picks of the amp and later will put some video's of the amp and sound later. I really like the way this amp sounds with the Fishman Aura on the P4 Setting or other Nylon Settings that can be downloaded from Fishman's Aura download page. I run the guitar flamenco Negra with a B Band AST pickup to the Aura and use the P4 Setting or 4 other Nylon Settings with a Numannn M147 mic to the Trace in the Line in put some reverb and very little eq and then I have a great sound for live playing for 60-70 people. Easy to travel with to.
