This is very exciting for me as a musican. I am still an amature who is sharing what I do know about music and what I have learned. I am very glad that hostbabby.com has been able to help me create the web sight and it was very easy to use and devleope the web pages. The sight www.victortarassov.com has been up since may and I have had some help from Regina Brown, Charline B. and Kathy H. I am very greatfull for there suport and who knows what the rest of the year will bring I have written five songs in sketch form and have a few more ideas that will hopefully be done by fall. I hope to release a entry level home recording in Febuary. The Cd will Hopefully be Victor Tarassov and New Wine the band. Dont yet know thoght if it will all pan out. Its amasing how much work going into recording a song and taking it from conception (idea) to completion (finished product)

Is'nt the sky so very beautifull this mouning. There is no trick photo hear. Just me taking a picure this am out side the office around 6:00am. What do you see? Its just the sun, clouds and blue sky.

2-3 Ft Away Pictures#1 (Mike Placement for Nuvo Flamenco Guitar)

I am experminting with mic placement and 2-3 feet from the guitar sounds very nice and gets rid of the bass boom sounds. Read the below posts for more information

2-3 Ft Away Pictures

The mic is about three feet away from the back rest on my chair. the mic is right by the music paper o the very left in the middle of the pic. The round seat is about where the guitar is. I will put a pic of that which is above and the explination is below.

2-3 Feet away vs 6-12 Inches away

Well I was looking a pictue of Ottmar Liebert today in his studio in Santa Fe NewMexico and I noticed that the mike placement was 2-3 feet away from him not 6-12 inces as many would have told me to do to record, Some folks a large chain of guitar shops. When really turning up the pre amp gain just a tad more and moving the mike 2-3 feet away from the guitar has made the sound of the guitar much better and the boominess has gone away (YEAH) You can learn more from pictures that some other ways like reading. People of The Lie

Wow what a day in court, If I were to belive what my ex and her attonery said about me I would want to put me away. Its amazing how evil will go for the lie and twist every tiny little thing to try to pain the worst pictue that is possible. Its like somthing is missing in there soul so they are more concerned about the distrution and dessimation of what it true and pure. There is good but they want to twist it and make it look and sound bad. I am speaking of my ex wife Phebe and her Attonery Pat Vorhess, they even wanted to make my blogger somthing bad and my attemps at creating web pages someing that has never even happend. I have not made any money off my web page or bologger. Its been a place for me to share with those in the www. world somethings about me and I do like this form. Well I did make and and I am very privliged to have a girl frind and frinds who have taken the time to know me and love me even thought I am not super or clolsy $$ I cant even afford a bear today. Charline I did have some of the Maderia and thanks for that. Well I learned alot today and a lot about me too. When some one attacks you dont fight smile big and dont let the lie in. D'Addario Pro Arte EJ45C Strings the ones I will now use

EJ45C Normal Tension Silverplated Wound Composite Strings. I really like these strings.

D'Addario Pro Arte EJ45C Strings Rock

I now just put a set of these on my Flamenco Negra the one from Casa Montalvo and these strings feel good and sound very good. I did put on the composite (D) string and I personaly dont mind the coffie/gut color to the string. They cost a bit more than the other EJ45 but I am told that the strings last 3 times longer. I will post a picture soon of the gutiar with the strings. I will also be soon do a teaching on how to string your guitar with or with out pegs. I found out about these strings while reading about strings from Ottmar Lieberts web page. Let me know your thoughs as well.

I was looking through Ottmar Lieberts blog and checking out some ideas on new strings and have decided to try the D'Addario EJ45C Pro Arte classical strings the C at the end of the number is becase the strings are a composite. They sound good and will let you all know my opion as I try these new strings.

D'Addaroio Composite Stings and Negra De Voe

New Negra Guitar

I received my DeVoe Flamenco Negra guitar on Thursday. It's a beauty. The wood is gorgeous, the craftsmanship is impeccable and the rosette (the ring around the soundhole) perfect...I have since tried three different saddles (low, medium and high) each with normal tension and hard tension D'Addario composite strings...I don't like changing strings, but I wanted to try every possible combination...I was worried about the Rosewood making the guitar sound a lot darker than the traditional Cypress and harder to play...today I felt that I began to understand the guitar...the combination that works for me is a medium saddle and normal tension strings....It's too early for a definitive verdict because I have not yet recorded the guitar, but I love playing it and I love the sound of it...

I also realized that I have been playing guitar for 32 years!!! Damn, that's a long time...

Hi,
I was reading your blog about turning 40. I like what your wrote. I hope
that turning 40 isn't something that you're dreading or feel sad about. I hope
that as you turn 40 you remember not only the challenges that you have faced,
but all of your accomplishments as well. I hope you take time to remember all
the people you have helped in those 40 years. Because I know there are many.

I think what makes you a good therapist and a good friend is that you're
real. You don't pretend to have all the answers. You help people by walking
beside them on their journey. I know that there are people out there whom you
have touched their life in some way and you don't even know that you did it.
Maybe they heard you talking about God, or they read something that you wrote
and it touched their heart.

You should be very proud of the man that you are. I know that God is pleased
with you. He knows you have faced some hard times, but you still have faith
in Him, and you continue to tell people about Him. You are one of his special
ones. And I think the way He has blessed you is by giving you a gift of
music. He knows how much you love music and he has given you your talent as a way
of saying thank you. Your gift of music that He has given you, you are now
giving to others. You have given me so many gifts, and you probably don't even know it. The
gift that I will always be grateful for is that you never gave up on me. I
always gave up on myself, and I never thought that there would be someone in the
world who would care enough to walk with me on my journey. But you did and you
continue, and look at all that I have accomplished. I went to the wine country by myself !!! Ok I did put Jesus in the passenger seat, but there were
times when I wished He had a better map.

So my friend as you turn 40, remember it's just a number. Next Saturday,
when you wake up, be happy and enjoy your day. I hope you spend it with the
people who mean the most to you. Have some good food and wine and play some
music, and enjoy life.

Turning 40

Wow I cant belive it this year in a few days I will hit the big 40. Forty years on this planet. Ive learned a lot so far and Ive learned that it takes a lot to make it hear. What you think you see and know is hardly ever that easy. Relationships are very hard and to make them work you need to rally know who you are (not perfect) be able to offer grace and truth. If you find some good frinds do be to demanding or draining of them. It took me some time on that one. And there is life after divorse. I have been thught two and they were very hard on me but I am still hear and will try again if the right circumstance and person come my way and feel the same about me. Good wine, food and frinds can make the hard times a bit easer. And with God all things can be possible. At the same time God is not some genie that you rub or have a formula so you can get what you want from God. It is very hard to live a godly life you will fail and you need to know that thats not the end of it God has patience and grace for all of us. That dose not mean we can abuse it either. However if we want to know God and experence His love for all of us we can. I know im in a dry spot hear I dont feel very spiritual or godly but this is where I am on my jurney and and will hopfully continue to grow and be a gracious person who dose not wind up bitter or angry. I would like to belive that I can love well and love others as they would want to be loved. I also need to take time to rest and know my limits I am not supper man or a supper heiro I am a normal man who eats, sleeps, farts, etc. Bottom line God gives us a mericale every second we are hear and brathing the choice is what do we want to belive about it.

This is my complete home studio as of 8/1/05 My rack with gear. Mac computer attached to the M1 Keyboard, goes to to my Mixer where the guitars 4 Nylons and One Electric with a Yamah Guitar Pre amp and drums go to the Beringer mixer. then Aliesis sound and DBX compression then that goes to the Roland VS 840 out to the two powered speakers.
